Commercial Music 3rd Year: Music Enterprise 1 & 2
Level 9's core practical module runs across term 1 and 2. Music Enterprise requires students to research the existing music environment to identify a project opportunity which will be of career-enhancing significance. This should be a music enterprise project of commercial value and/or have community, social or cultural significance.
Students will then develop a music enterprise project proposal pertaining to their chosen sector, addressing creative content, timescale, budget, target audience, professional concerns, as well as setting qualitative and quantitative objectives.
In term 2, students must then develop and implement their Music Enterprise project for real, based on the research undertaken in the first half of the module.
